WE BELIEVE:

tHAT WE ARE
SINNERS

We believe that God made a perfect world with no pain or wrongdoing and that the first humans, Adam and Eve brought sin into the world by exchanging the truth about God for a lie.

What was this lie? The lie was that God was keeping good things from us and that we would be better off if we could call the shots, and if we got to decide right from wrong.

tHAT WE Need
A Savior

You only need to look around to see that calling our own shots hasn’t worked out so great. Death, war, and disease… Conflict, broken families, and hardship… These are but a glimpse of the countless devastating effects that our sin has had on the world. More than any of this, our sin has forever separated us from God himself.

One thing becomes clear in the face of all this suffering, hurt, and separation from God. We can’t fix it on our own. We need someone else, someone better, someone untouched by sin to save us!

THAT HIS NAME IS JESUS

Praise God that He did not leave us alone to figure out our mess because God Himself by send His only son to earth as a man in the person of Jesus Christ! Jesus was that someone untouched by sin! He lived a perfect life on earth doing all that God had said. We read this in the Bible about Jesus Christ:

For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. For one will scarcely die for a righteous person—though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die— but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Since, therefore, we have now been justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from the wrath of God. For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by his life. – Romans 5:8-11

Did you catch that!? God created a perfect world that we messed up with our sin and yet God loved us so much that He chose to come to earth and live perfectly so that He could then die the death that we deserve. Through trusting and believing in His sacrifice we can be made right with God forever!

This is the good news friend that we call “The Gospel” and we would love for you to join us to learn more about who Jesus is and what God has done for us through Him!

SO NOW WHAT?

More than that, we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation. – Romans 5:11

Because God has loved us so deeply through Jesus, we believe that he has now placed us in our communities to be a blessing just as we have been blessed through His sacrifice!

This very belief is why our church exists!

WHAT DOES THAT LOOK LIKE?

As a church, we seek to love one another well and help each other know, love, and obey Jesus more each day. We do this through our small groups, fellowship meals each month, or just catching up before and after our church services.

We seek to be a community that everyone with the same welcoming arms that Jesus has shown to us in the midst of our own brokenness and need.

We seek to bless one another

through fellowship

Jesus said, “the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”(Mark 10:45) We serve our community because Jesus first served us! Through these efforts, we hope to build relationships with people just as Jesus sought us out to be in a relationship with him.

The good news that Jesus has saved sinners is the best news of all time! We long to share that good news with our community and welcome them into our church family as they explore the saving work of Jesus.

We seek to bless OUR COMMUNITIES

through SERVING
